The Native Plant Beds
The front yard is being developed into beds of native plants. The organic layout is large irregular shaped beds amidst winding paths. The beds are managed to promote an attractive visual experience of diverse plants. Notably, the plants in the beds nearest the road are identified with small markers. All of the beds are covered with leaf mulch from our property.

Look HERE to see how we create these beds.
Most all of the plants were initially grown from seeds collected during a program hosted by Summit County Metro Parks. Live plants were purchased from local vendors during the Summit County Metro Parks Annual Plant Sale. Some plants were grown from seeds from OPN Seeds and Prairie Moon Nursery.

We recommend iNaturalist for help identifying and learning more about specific specie. (HERE)
